Job Description

We are looking for a results-oriented professional to join our Multireach Broadband division as Assistant Manager Broadband Retail Sales. The role involves managing end-to-end retail broadband sales, with a special focus on premium customer segments requiring high-speed, reliable internet solutions. The ideal candidate will drive growth through proactive customer engagement, strong market intelligence, and effective channel partnerships within the Kolkata region. Key Responsibilities: Drive retail broadband sales across the assigned geography through a combination of direct selling and channel management. Focus on premium residential societies, commercial zones, and high-opportunity localities to maximize customer acquisition. Identify, appoint, and manage a network of local distributors, retailers, DSAs, and franchisee outlets to expand market presence. Conduct in-person meetings and provide customized broadband solutions for customers with specific connectivity and service expectations. Ensure timely coordination with internal teams for smooth installation, service delivery, and post-sale support. Lead local marketing campaigns, including flyers, standees, on-ground activations, and society tie-ups to drive visibility and lead generation. Execute regular field visits, market mapping, and competition tracking to stay aligned with trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Maintain a robust sales pipeline, track lead conversions, and share daily/weekly sales reports, forecasts, and MIS. Proactively resolve customer queries and escalations, aiming to ensure high levels of satisfaction and long-term retention. Required Skills & Experience: Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred) 4-6 years of experience in retail broadband/ISP/telecom sales or equivalent. Ability to understand the needs of discerning customers and offer suitable broadband packages Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Good understanding of local market behavior and sales dynamics. Goal-oriented, energetic, and comfortable with field sales.
