Assistant Manager - Alumni Relations

Position Summary:

The Asst. Manager (Alumni Relations) will assist in planning, organizing, and executing various initiatives that strengthen the connection between the University and its alumni. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning, communication, marketing, data management, and stakeholder engagement.

1. Event Planning & Support-

• Help organize alumni events and activities, reunions, webinars, and networking sessions
• Assist with logistics: registration, setup, signage, feedback and post-event follow-up
• Represent the office at select events and orientations
• Coordinate with Faculty Alumni Coordinators and Students Alumni Committee Members for reports, info, etc.,

2. Alumni Engagement & Communications-

• Help manage alumni-related social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Amity Alumni portals)
• Collect and organize alumni stories, testimonials, articles and achievements
• Respond to alumni inquiries and assist with reconnecting lost alumni • Assist in analyzing engagement data and preparing reports
• Coordinate with respective institutions for Alumni job postings, Mentee allotment etc.,

3. Data & Administrative Tasks-

• Update and maintain alumni databases with accurate contact and engagement info
• Increase Alumni Registrations on Alumni Portal
• Record maintenance & Filing

4. Content Creation-

• Contribute to content writing for events, newsletters, social media posts, etc.,
• Help design promotional materials and event collateral
• Support website updates and alumni portal content

Eligibility Criteria:

• Graduated from any degree program
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with Canva is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Interest in education, philanthropy, and relationship-building
• Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn
