Responsibilities and Expectations Officer - Batch Fundraiser – Roles & Responsibilities Call alumni who have pledged but not yet donated, explain giving options, and encourage completion of donations. Share donation links, reminders, and impact information via email/WhatsApp post-call. Maintain accurate records of conversations, responses, and follow-up needs. Assist in maintaining and updating batch-wise donor tracking sheets. Coordinate with batch coordinators when required for alumni responses and follow-ups. Support the Fundraising Team in creating summaries and dashboards on batch progress and alumni engagement. Conduct initial outreach to corporate CSR teams, HR heads, and decision-makers to gauge interest in partnering with IIT Kanpur. Collect and record relevant contact details, CSR focus areas, and partnership history. Identify warm leads and share with the Corporate Partnerships team for further engagement. Maintain structured trackers for alumni and corporate calls, including call outcomes and next steps. Support basic reporting for calling campaigns (daily/weekly summaries). Coordinate with the Data and Fundraising teams to keep donor and lead databases updated. . Assist in batch fundraising activities by making follow-up calls and tracking alumni engagement. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, operational excellence, and a participant-first mindset to deliver exceptional event experiences that reflect the prestige and legacy of IIT Kanpur. Event Conceptualization & Planning · Design unique, engaging event concepts aligned with the Foundation’s strategic goals · Innovate and introduce new formats, themes, and ideas to enhance alumni and donor experience. · Prepare detailed event plans including objectives, timelines, budgets, and KPIs (including composite event scoring metrics Execution & Operations · Lead end-to-end event execution — from pre-event planning, coordination with vendors and stakeholders, to post-event closure. · Ensure every event is checklist-driven, with clear milestones, ownership, and contingency planning. · Monitor and ensure smooth on-site execution with a strong focus on hospitality, punctuality, and guest experience.
