Assistant Manager Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Accounting Operations
• Monitor and verify daily cash, card, and digital transactions from all billing counters.
• Ensure proper posting of sales, purchase, and expense entries in accounting software.
• Reconcile POS (point of sale) system reports with bank and cash accounts.
• Inventory & Cost Control
• Coordinate with the store and warehouse for stock reconciliation.
• Verify supplier bills with GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and purchase orders.
• Monitor wastage, damages, and returns to control shrinkage costs.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Manage supplier payments and maintain aging reports.
• Follow up on credit sales and coordinate receivables.
• Prepare and maintain vendor ledgers and reconcile periodically.
• GST & Tax Compliance
• Assist in monthly GST computation and return filing.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and compliance.
• Support in TDS deduction, payment, and return filing.
• Payroll & Employee Reimbursements
• Verify salary sheets prepared by HR/payroll.
• Process petty cash reimbursements and staff advances.
• Reporting & MIS
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
• Share insights on revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
• Audit Support
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors.
• Ensure timely submission of required data and reports.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
