Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to senior management. Ensure compliance with accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and tax regulations. Oversee the preparation of forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals. Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for month-end close and share monthly presentation with stakeholders. Solely responsible for performing monthly GL reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in records and addressing discrepancies promptly Supervise the accounts payable team, ensuring efficient processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Mentor team members on best practices and performance improvement Cash Flow Management Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations. Work with senior management to identify opportunities for improving working capital management. Internal Controls & Compliance Establish and maintain internal control processes to safeguard company assets. Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures. Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Team Leadership & Development Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and fostering professional growth. Ensure proper training and development to keep the finance team updated with industry standards and technologies. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely submission of tax filings. Keep abreast of changes in taxation and financial regulations, implementing necessary changes. Strategic Financial Planning Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term financial strategies and plans. Provide financial support for strategic initiatives, acquisitions, and investments. What were looking for Min 4-6 years of experience working in Accounts Payable ,Invoicing and R2R . CA is mandatory and experience in the field of B2C business model of ecommerce industry would be preferred Working Knowledge of SAP, (Copa, SD, FI, PS and other relevant modules) Basic understanding of accounting standards, Company Law, GST & TDS laws and other related compliances Ability to work well in a team across various functions and business lines Good communication skills and ability to manage stakeholders well Strong problem solving and creative thinking mindset Strong analytical and logical thinking skills to devise solutions through a data drive approach
