CleanMax is seeking to hire an additional legal resource to augment its legal team. The resource will be expected to primarily work on financing transactions of CleanMax and its subsidiaries which includes a wide variety such as ECB, FCNR, NCD, mezzanine debt, working capital and project financing and may include structured debt in the future. This will entail reviewing and negotiating loan documents to ensure the Company s rights and interests (as a Borrower) are protected. Further, as an in-house lawyer, there will be exposure to a wide variety of general corporate matters. This is a cross functional role and will involve active collaboration with the finance team as well as various other functions within CleanMax

Key Responsibilities:

Support the finance team in relation to financing transactions including review and negotiating loan documents and assisting in all ancillary matters.
Drafting agreements, MOUs, CP documents, undertakings, notices, NDAs, supporting documents, as required from time to time.
Advising on local applicable laws and regulations such as stamp duty related implication

Skills Competencies:

Experience in banking and finance transactions. Experience in the renewable energy sector will be an added advantage.
Comfortable with handling wide variety of commercial contracts
Good drafting, negotiating, and reviewing skills (a drafting test might be administered as seen necessary)
Advanced level of English, both written and spoken
Ability to work with both legal and business teams and have a collaborative approach
Ability to be adapt and adjust to an in-house set up
