Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as an Assistant General Manager Quality Assurance at New Swan in Ludhiana. The Assistant General Manager Quality Assurance will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day quality assurance operations, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, implementing quality control measures, and leading quality improvement initiatives. QualificationsQuality Assurance and Quality Control skillsExperience with ISO standards and quality management systemsKnowledge of manufacturing processes and quality improvement methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and leadership abilitiesBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldCertifications in quality assurance or related field are a plus. Experience : Minimum 15 Years to 25 Years. Industry : Sheet Metal only Skills : Should be well-versed in press shop, electroplating, powder coating and weld shop processes.Knowledge of IATF Audits.Should be proficient in Team handling and customer complaint handling. Responibilities : Planning & Development - Responsible for all level activities of Quality Management Systems (ISO/TS 16949:2009) as Quality Assurance Representative of the plant. - Responsible for all Quality functions of Auto Components in Sheet Metal Manufacturing set up. Comply with modern QMS / QC Methods, TS16949, TQM, QS etc. - Handling customer complaint with resolving them as per their satisfaction and must be dealing directly with customer on day to day basis. - To ensure that all processes are as per control plan. - Monitoring and maintaining SOP, Control plan, Process Audit, Product Audit, System Audit - Shall be responsible for monitoring all regular and new parts through documentation system, implementation APQP, FMEA. - Shall be responsible for effective implementation of Kaizen, 5S & POKA YOKE, 7QC Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC). - Shall be responsible for training of personnel.
