Job Description – AGM (Mechanical Maintenance)

Position: Assistant General Manager – Mechanical Maintenance (ERW / CDW / Galvalume Line)
Experience: Minimum 15 Years
Salary Range: ₹20 Lakh per annum
Location: Bachau, Kutch, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Mechanical Maintenance Department for ERW, CDW, and Galvalume lines.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum equipment uptime.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and modifications of mechanical systems and machines.
• Monitor equipment performance and introduce reliability improvements.
• Manage spare parts inventory, vendor coordination, and cost control in maintenance.
• Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.
• Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
• Train, guide, and evaluate the mechanical maintenance team to build technical capability.

Key Requirements:

• B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in mechanical maintenance in tube/pipe (ERW, CDW, Galvalume) manufacturing.
• Strong technical expertise in tube mills, welding machines, furnaces, gearboxes, pumps, and hydraulic systems.
• Proven track record in equipment reliability, cost optimization, and team management.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
