To lead the financial planning and analysis initiatives, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and monthly financial review. The role involves closely working with all functions on various key finance initiatives, regular monitoring of working capital efficiency, and coordinating with the group for data requirements and queries.
Annual Budgeting, Quarterly Forecasting, and Monthly Financial Review
Month-end closing, Gross Margin reviews, Expenses reviews, and MIS preparations
Closely working with all functions on various key finance initiatives
Regular monitoring on working capital efficiency and action around it
Budget and Forecast upload in FP&A system and coordination with the Group regarding various queries and data requirements
Commercial validation/feedback on new store proposals, bulk deals, margin changes, etc.
Other ad-hoc analysis as and when required.
General Ledger Ownership Manage end-to-end General Ledger accounting, including accurate booking of journal entries, revenue and expense recognition, provisions, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Month-End Close & Compliance Own the month-end and year-end GL closing process, ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, and support statutory, internal, and group audits.
Proven experience in financial planning and analysis.
Solid knowledge of accounting, financial analysis, and MS Excel.
Understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Analytical mind with strategic ability.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, problem-solving ability, multi-tasking, and in-depth product knowledge.
