Assistant Finance Manager

Role Overview: As a finance professional at Amber, your main responsibility will be to manage monthly MIS, budgeting, and forecasting while providing valuable business insights through variance analysis and KPI tracking. You will also be required to develop financial models, aid in strategic decision-making, and collaborate with various departments to align financial plans. Proficiency in tools like Excel or Power BI for reporting automation is a must. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing monthly MIS, annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans. - Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts/budgets. - Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario analysis and business planning. - Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver insightful reporting to business stakeholders. - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations for senior management. - Analyze business performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend corrective actions. - Support strategic initiatives, cost optimization, and profitability analysis. - Partner with departments (sales, operations, HR, etc.) to align financial plans with business objectives. - Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial systems and reports. - Assist in automating reporting processes and improving efficiency through tools like Excel, Power BI, or similar. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. - Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling. - Excellent knowledge of Excel and/or Power BI for reporting automation. - Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
