Assistant Fashion Designer

Assistant – Fashion & Operations (Full-Time, Gurgaon)

We are looking for a proactive, organized, and responsible Assistant to support daily operations at Sugandha, an Indo-Western fashion brand based in Gurgaon. The role involves a mix of studio management, client coordination, and production support, ideal for someone who enjoys fashion and fast-paced work.

Responsibilities include:

Managing day-to-day studio tasks, coordinating client appointments and fittings, handling WhatsApp/call communication, and maintaining a professional tone at all times. The assistant will also work closely with tailors, the masterji, karigars, and vendors to track orders, ensure timely production, and maintain workflow. Additional tasks include inventory management, organizing the studio and workshop, maintaining records, and supporting the founder with design development, sourcing, and occasional shoots.

Requirements:

Strong communication skills in English and Hindi, good organizational ability, a positive attitude, and comfort with multitasking. Basic knowledge of fashion processes is an advantage but not mandatory. The candidate should be punctual, presentable, comfortable with basic tech tools, and willing to learn.

Work Hours: Monday–Saturday, full-time on-site.

Salary: Based on experience.
