Job Title : Assistant Faculty – Medical Lab Technology (MLT) Location : Patna | Pune | Lucknow | Indore Department : School of Healthcare (SOH), PW IOI Employment Type : [Full-Time] Job Summary :Physics Wallah (PW) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Faculty – MLT to join our School of Healthcare (SOH). The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching and training students enrolled in the Medical Lab Technology (MLT) program. This includes delivering theoretical lectures, conducting practical sessions, and guiding students in laboratory work to help them build strong clinical and academic foundations for their careers as Medical Lab Technicians . Key Responsibilitie s:Develop content for MLT subjects in line with university curriculum under the guidance of the Head of Academic s.Deliver engaging and informative lectures and practical demonstrations in areas such a s:Microbiolo gyPatholo gyRoutine & Special Lab Techniqu esHistolo gySerolo gyInfection Contr ol Design and administer assessments including quizzes, written exams, and practical evaluatio ns.Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students for their professional grow th.Stay current with advancements in medical laboratory science and incorporate them into teaching practic es.Collaborate with the Academic Director, Program Manager, and faculty peers to enhance curriculum quality and delive ry.Maintain student records including attendance, assessments, and performance repor ts.Assist in procurement and maintenance of laboratory equipment, reagents, and other suppli es.Participate in departmental meetings, training programs, and community outreach initiativ es.Support Domain Faculty in executing academic responsibilities effective ly. Qualifications & Experie nce:Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Medical Sciences, or a related fi eld. Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience and 2–3 years of teaching experience in an MLT or related pro gram. In-depth understanding of medical lab operations, quality control practices, and diagnostic proce dures.Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment (automatic, semi-automatic, and manual), troubleshooting, and use of lab software/information sy stems.Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal s kills.Experience in curriculum development, academic planning, and student asses sment.
