We are inviting applications from dynamic, academically accomplished individuals for the post of Assistant Faculty in Botany and Zoology optional subjects. Key Responsibilities Assist lead faculty in delivering high-quality academic content for UPSC Mains (Optional) preparation in Botany and/or Zoology. Conduct lectures (in-class and/or online), doubt-clearing sessions, and answer writing sessions. Prepare, review, and update study material, test papers, and model answers as per UPSC standards. Provide academic mentorship to students, guiding them through syllabus completion, revision strategies, and performance analysis. Support in conducting subject-specific workshops, test series, and enrichment programmes. Collaborate in academic research, curriculum development, and internal academic discussions. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualifications: Master's Degree or above in Botany or Zoology from a reputed institution. Preference will be given to candidates with UGC-NET, PhD, or similar academic qualifications. Desirable Experience: Prior experience in UPSC teaching (classroom or online). Candidates who have written UPSC Mains with Botany/Zoology Optional will be preferred. Skill Requirements: Strong conceptual clarity in subject fundamentals. Excellent academic writing skills and communication abilities. Ability to explain complex scientific topics in a structured and civil services exam-relevant manner.
