Assistant Facility Manager - Technical (Location - Mumbai Bhiwandi)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising technical maintenance and repair activities for facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and security systems.
  
• Monitor and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards for all technical systems.
  
• Support the implementation and management of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for technical repairs, upgrades, and inspections.
  
• Assist in budgeting and procurement of technical supplies, parts, and equipment.
  
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment status, and technical documentation.
  
• Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate complex problems to senior management or specialized technicians.
  
• Support emergency response procedures related to facility systems, including fire alarms, power failures, or other technical disruptions.
  
• Participate in facility audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff and other departments as needed.
  

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities Management, or related field).
  
• Proven experience in facility management or technical maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
  
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  
• Familiarity with facility management software and maintenance tracking systems.
  
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and external vendors.
  
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Certifications in facility management or safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA).
  
• Experience with energy management and sustainability initiatives.
  
• Basic understanding of building automation systems (BAS).
