Assistant / Deputy Manager - Automation Engineer

As an Assistant / Deputy Manager - Automation Engineer at TATA Electronics in Hosur, your primary responsibilities will include: - Automation machine installation, validation, and maintenance. - Leading new line installation & prove out with project management skills. - Driving KPI's and skill matrix evaluation. - Coordinating actively with CFT / Customer / Supplier to ensure readiness. - Conducting 5Q stage qualifications (DQ/IQ/OQ/PQ/MQ). - Guiding the team on PFMEA, DOE, Control Plan, and 7QC tools. - Managing machine maintenance, warranty, DFM, DAP, SOP, MSOP, Checklist, PQP, and other standard document validations. - Overseeing Spare management and coordinating with Buyer / CAPEX for vendor equipment repair. - Demonstrating expertise in Robot, Servo control, CCD, and other automation controllers. - Experience in various Laser / gluing / Assembly Process Related Standards. - Familiarity with Cp & Cpk, Fishbone, Pareto, Control Chart, scatter plots, etc. - Reporting build status & Action tracker via live tracker to reporting manager. - Developing best practices, routines, lesson learned, innovative solutions, and new concept / technology implementation on new programs. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree with 13 - 18 years of experience. - Strong people and process management skills. - Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries, or functions with an understanding of interdependencies at the site. - Candidates from EMS industry are preferred.
