Assistant Department Manager - Financial Shared Services

As an experienced professional in the field of Accounting/Finance, you will play a crucial role in leading the formulation and execution of long-term strategic plans aligned with the US Corporate Financial Services vision. Your key responsibilities will include: - Identifying growth opportunities, assessing market trends, and driving innovation to ensure sustainable competitive advantage. - Collaborating with the US Finance Manager to understand broader Finance department strategies and specific Shared Services strategy, influencing them based on local knowledge and experience. - Providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members through collaboration with Section managers and leads. - Monitoring and evaluating team performance, implementing improvements as necessary. - Mentoring and developing Section Manager and leads to enhance their skills, leadership, and strategic thought process. - Collaborating with US finance leaders and BMI finance leaders to streamline processes and improve service delivery. - Staying updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance team performance. - Occasionally traveling to the US may be required. - Performing any other duties as assigned. Qualifications required for this role include: - Chartered Accountants (CA), CPA, MBA from prime institutions strongly preferred. - Minimum 12 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a shared services environment. - Expert collaborator, with a proven track record of driving successful transformation and change. - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and team management skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
