Assistant Credit Manager

Role Overview: As an Assistant Credit Manager at The Westin Mumbai Garden City, your main responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day operations of accounts receivables. This includes ensuring that invoices are accurate, dispersed on time, following up on delinquent accounts, and making credit authorization decisions for incoming customers. You will also be responsible for interacting with sales and catering staff for timely credit decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Generates and provides accurate and timely results such as reports and presentations. - Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information. - Completes accounts receivable period end closing functions and procedures, credit and period end reporting. - Upholds the policies and procedures outlined in the credit policy. - Demonstrates and applies accounting knowledge to credit management issues. - Uses relevant information and individual judgment to determine compliance with laws, regulations, or standards. - Leads the credit management team, utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others. - Staffs, manages, and develops all billing and accounts receivable employees. - Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines. - Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc. - Monitors receivables for timely collections and follows up with appropriate collection correspondence. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major. - No work experience required.
