The Assistant Business Development Manager (Assistant BDM) is responsible for supporting the overall business growth of the education division. The role involves generating leads, building partnerships, counselling students, and assisting in achieving enrolment or sales targets. The candidate will work closely with the BDM and counsellors to expand market reach and ensure excellent service delivery

.

Key Responsibilities1. Lead Generation & Market Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the education/overseas education sector.
  • Conduct market research to understand student needs, competitor activities, and trends.
  • Generate leads through field visits, seminars, workshops, social media, and referral networks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and training institutes.

2. Student Counselling & Conversion

  • Assist counsellors in guiding students on suitable programs, universities, and countries.
  • Conduct follow-up calls and meetings to convert prospective students to admissions.
  • Support in organising counselling sessions, education fairs, and career guidance events.
