Job Description

Key Responsibilities Assist Branch Manager in supervising field officers. Monitor day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning of field operations. Ensure that the team achieves the targets set for the branch. Support in the loan application process, conducting GRTs as required. Facilitate timely loan disbursement and ensure that the required documentation is accurate. Conduct client meetings and site visits, if required, to verify loan requests, perform loan utilization checks. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Resolve any client complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner. Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring loan repayment schedules and resolving payment-related queries. Assist in conducting training and orientation programs for field staff. Ensure accurate and timely submission of field reports, loan details, and other documentation. Oversee the collection process, ensuring that payments are collected and deposited correctly. Monitor loan repayment behaviour and ensure timely follow-up on overdue payments. Ensure adherence to all internal and regulatory compliance policies. Prepare periodic reports on branch performance, including client acquisition, loan disbursement, recovery, and collections. Key Skills and Qualifications Educational Qualification : Graduate in any discipline (preferably in finance, business administration, or related fields). A Postgraduate degree or diploma in finance, management, or related fields is a plus. Experience : 2-3 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services. Prior experience in managing a team or supervising field team is preferred. Exposure to loan origination, collections, and client servicing in the microfinance sector is a must. Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Good knowledge of microfinance products, loan management, and collection processes. Ability to work independently and in a team. Problem-solving attitude and a customer-centric approach. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Competencies : Attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy. High ethical standards and integrity. Proficiency in local languages and the ability to understand the local market is desirable.
