As a Territory Manager Sales at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, you will be responsible for driving enquiry generation and successful conversion within the Mahindra farm portfolio, specifically targeting farmers with substantial land holdings. Your core objective will be to provide comprehensive farm mechanization solutions tailored to support various crop stages, thereby enhancing agricultural productivity.
Your role will involve forming strategic partnerships with farmers by demonstrating proof of concept and conducting hands-on demonstrations using our latest models and technology in farm mechanization equipment. This will not only facilitate trust but also serve to highlight the superior performance of Mahindra tractors and implements.
Identifying and developing new revenue streams will be essential, focusing on bundling solutions that integrate Mahindra tractors with implement product ranges to offer holistic and value-driven farming solutions. You will also play a crucial role in capacity building by upskilling laborers and tractor drivers, ensuring effective and efficient usage of farm mechanization equipment, which will positively impact farmers operational capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in agriculture, agribusiness, engineering, or a related field which provides a solid foundation for understanding farm mechanization and agricultural sales.
Continuous professional development is encouraged to stay current with evolving agricultural practices, mechanization technologies, and sales methodologies.
The general experience required for this role includes a proven track record in sales and customer relationship management, preferably within the agricultural sector or related industries. Candidates should have solid experience engaging with farmers and stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored mechanization solutions.
Experience with large-scale agricultural customers and knowledge of farm cycle dynamics will enhance effectiveness in this position.
Critical experience for succeeding in this position revolves around specialized knowledge and skills directly related to farm mechanization and business development in the agricultural sector.
