Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant located in Patna, Bihar. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for managing daily bookkeeping tasks, preparing financial statements and reports, reconciling bank statements, assisting in month-end and year-end closing processes, processing accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining accurate financial records. The role also involves supporting the senior accountant in audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA
• Proficiency in book keeping and accounting software such as Tally Prime
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
