Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing lease agreements, including renewals, terminations, and negotiation of terms with property owners
  • Review and interpret lease agreements to ensure compliance with lease terms.
  • Track critical lease dates, including renewals, expirations, and rental escalations.
  • Prepare and reconcile Common Area Maintenance (CAM) charges, real estate taxes, and other expense recoveries for subtenants.
  • Maintain lease data in a erp software or tracking spreadsheet.
  • Assist with lease-related inquiries from internal teams and subtenants.
  • Coordinate with accounting and finance teams to ensure proper lease expense allocations.
  • Support the preparation of lease abstracts and financial reporting related to leases.
  • Communicate with landlords, tenants, and internal stakeholders regarding lease obligations.
  • Assist with ad hoc lease administration projects and reporting needs.

Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proven experience in lease administration and real estate lease management.
  • Strong understanding of lease terms, financial reconciliations, and compliance tracking.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in erp software and Google docs and sheets.
  • Ability to manage multiple leases simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
