Job Title: Assembly Production Engineer

Experience Required: 3–5 Years

Department: Production / Assembly

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage assembly operations for sheet metal products such as server racks, LT panels, control panels, etc.
• Plan and execute the daily production schedule for the assembly line
• Ensure on-time production targets while maintaining quality standards
• Interpret and work as per Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering drawings, and SOPs
• Ensure proper use of tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly equipment
• Handle manpower planning, line balancing, and resource allocation efficiently
• Conduct in-process inspections and ensure quality at every stage of assembly
• Identify and resolve assembly issues like fitment problems, wiring mismatches, or component defects
• Maintain compliance with 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and safety norms
• Coordinate with Design, Quality, PPC, and Stores teams for smooth workflow
• Suggest and implement continuous improvements for productivity and cost savings
• Train assembly workers and helpers to follow standard work procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in assembly within the sheet metal fabrication industry
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring layouts, and BOMs
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software, and production reporting tools
• Strong problem-solving and team leadership skills
• Knowledge of ISO/TS quality systems is preferred
• Familiarity with safety standards and lean tools like 5S, Kaizen, etc.

• Experience managing shop floor workers and production teams
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Practical understanding of torque tools and assembly torque standards
• Continuous improvement mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
