Job Description

Role & Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machinery systems as per engineering drawings and standard operating procedures.
Perform fitting, alignment, and adjustment of shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, and other mechanical parts.
Install pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical subsystems during machine integration.
Support trial runs, testing, and troubleshooting during pre-dispatch inspections.
Maintain tools, jigs, fixtures, and assembly records to ensure accuracy and traceability.
Coordinate with design, fabrication, and electrical teams to resolve assembly-related issues.

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of mechanical assembly, alignment, and measurement techniques.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, assembly layouts, and basic electrical/pneumatic schematics.
Hands-on experience with power tools, torque wrenches, grinders, drills, and measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge).
Knowledge of bearings, seals, couplings, shafts, and industrial hardware.
Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic fittings.
Ability to work independently or in a team under tight production timelines.
Good communication and problem-solving attitude.
