About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and passionate Artist Manager to represent and support a talented singer in building a successful and sustainable music career. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the music industry, strong business acumen, and a passion for artist development. Key Responsibilities: Career Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute short- and long-term career strategies aligned with the singer's goals and artistic vision. Scheduling & Logistics: Coordinate daily activities, recording sessions, rehearsals, interviews, photoshoots, and appearances. Team Coordination: Act as the central liaison between the artist and key stakeholders including record labels, booking agents, publicists, lawyers, producers, and media outlets. Contract Negotiation & Oversight: Assist with negotiating contracts for performances, endorsements, recording deals, and other commercial opportunities. Tour Management Support: Coordinate logistics for tours, live performances, and promotional events (with or without a dedicated tour manager). Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams and PR firms to promote the singer’s releases, brand, and public image. Brand Development: Help build and maintain a strong personal and professional brand that resonates with the artist's target audience. Financial Oversight: Monitor budgets, expenses, and income; ensure the artist’s business dealings are financially sound. Qualifications: Proven experience in artist management or related roles in the music/entertainment industry Strong industry network across music, media, and entertainment Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment Knowledge of music platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube), social media, and industry trends Understanding of music contracts, royalties, and legal basics in entertainment law is a plus Preferred Skills: Experience managing or working with vocal artists or bands Basic knowledge of music production and studio operations Public relations or digital marketing background Work Environment: Flexible working hours; must be available for travel, live events, and last-minute scheduling changes Mix of remote and in-person work depending on project needs
