Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Article Assistant located in Guwahati. The Article Assistant will engage in various tasks related to accounting, taxation, auditing, and client consultations under the supervision of seniors. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, filing tax returns, assisting with audits, and providing support in research and documentation. The Article Assistant will also liaise with clients to ensure compliance with regulations and address any financial queries.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Knowledge of Indirect Taxation including GST, Customs, FTP, Service Tax, and Central Excise
• Skills in financial statement preparation and tax return filing
• Proficiency in auditing procedures and techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under supervision with attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Relevant experience or internship in a CA firm is a plus
