Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position located in Surat for an Article Assistant. The Article Assistant will be involved in regular tasks such as assisting with GST audits, compliance management, preparation and filing of returns, drafting replies to notices, conducting thorough research on taxation matters, and supporting the team in addressing various indirect tax-related queries and appeals as required. The role provides an opportunity to develop a deep understanding of indirect taxation and gain practical insights through hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Understanding of GST, Customs, SEZ, and related indirect taxation policies and processes.
Proficiency in researching and analyzing laws, rules, and notifications applicable to tax matters.
Strong drafting, documentation, and record-keeping skills for response preparation and filing.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple assignments and deadlines effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields (pursuing CA or CS preferred).
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a professional team in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
