Job Description


We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Designer/Art Director to join our dynamic digital marketing team. This role demands a versatile individual skilled in graphic design, video editing, and proficient in software tools such as illustrator, Photoshop, After effects, Premiere Pro, Canva and other industry-standard design and editing programs. The ideal candidate should possess a strong aesthetic sense, the ability to ideate, and a fast-paced execution style, contributing to the visual impact of our campaigns and client projects.

RESPONSBLITIES


Conceptualization and Design:

  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute high-quality designs for digital campaigns, websites, social media, and other online platforms.
  • Create visually compelling graphics, layouts, and visual identities that align with client brands and campaign goals.
  • Generate original ideas for branding, advertisements, and visual content across a variety of digital mediums.


Video Editing and Production:

  • Develop and edit videos for social media, promotional campaigns, and client presentations using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent tools.
  • Ensure that all video content is visually consistent, well-paced, and aligns with the marketing strategy.


Canva Expertise:

  • Use Canva for rapid prototyping, quick edits, and producing visually appealing content when required, ensuring brand consistency and aesthetic quality.


Execution and Delivery:

  • Work in a fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality content efficiently without compromising on creativity or accuracy.
  • Revise, finalize, and package design assets for multiple platforms (web, mobile, social, etc.) according to project timelines.


Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with copywriters, marketing strategists, and other team members to bring creative concepts to life.
  • Take constructive feedback and provide guidance on best design practices within the team.


Trend Awareness:

  • Stay updated on current design and video trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging tools/technologies to continuously elevate the visual content.


SKILL REQUIRED


  • Design Mastery:

    Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Figma for graphic design and web layouts.
  • Video Editing:

    Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro for video production.
  • Canva Proficiency:

    Familiarity with Canva for quick and effective design and content production.
  • Typography and Color Theory:

    Deep understanding of typography, color schemes, and how to use them to create powerful visuals.
  • Animation Skills (Preferred):

    Experience with motion graphics is a plus
  • Photography and Videography

    : This skill will be an added advantage


KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED


  • Digital Marketing Fundamentals:

    Basic understanding of digital marketing principles and how design can impact user engagement, conversion rates, and brand identity.
  • UX/UI Principles:

    Familiarity with user experience design and how visual design impacts user interaction across different platforms.
  • Platform-Specific Content:

    Knowledge of design formats, ratios, and guidelines for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
