Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Art Curator based in Jaipur, with flexibility for partial remote work. Selecting, organizing, and managing exhibitions of artwork to effectively present it to the public. Researching and interpreting the work to develop engaging exhibition narratives, labels, and catalogs.Coordinating logistics for art display, including installation, lighting, and conservation to ensure your art is presented optimally. Collaborating with galleries, museums, and other art institutions to promote your work and secure exhibition opportunities. Managing relationships with collectors, sponsors, and buyers to build your network and sales opportunities. Overseeing the documentation and record-keeping of your art pieces, including provenance and condition reports.Planning and executing marketing, fundraising, and public engagement strategies to raise our profile.Providing advice on the acquisition or sale of artworks and managing loan agreements if applicable.Staying informed about art trends and cultural developments to keep your exhibitions relevant and impactful. The curator will ensure that Studio Ananta's philosophy of Libre Essence is consistently reflected in its projects and exhibitions.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing Curatorial Projects, Art Galleries, and Museum Collections
• Strong Research and Writing skills, with attention to detail and storytelling
• Knowledge of art history, contemporary art practices, and modern design trends
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Museology, or a related field
• Familiarity with biophilic or functional art, as well as spiritual or abstract artistic themes, is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and any relevant design or curatorial management software is desirable
