Area Service Manager

As an Area Service Manager in the SPECTRO Business Unit for the Eastern Region based in Kolkata, your primary responsibility is to oversee and manage the technical service operations in the region. You will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality post-sales support, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth through service-related activities. Your key responsibilities will include providing first and second-level technical support for SPECTRO products such as ICP, XRF, ARC/SPARK Metal Analyzers, handling on-site service activities, supervising service engineers, managing service sales opportunities, and maintaining accurate service records. You will also collaborate with regional sales teams, track service KPIs, and prepare monthly service performance reports for regional review. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation preferred) along with at least 12 years of experience in technical service, preferably in Analytical Instrumentation systems. Strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office and CRM platforms like Sales Force are essential. Additionally, you should be willing to travel extensively within the region to meet the demands of the role.
