Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We're looking for a Area Sales Manager- to manage our sales in the food industry. You will be responsible for overseeing the GT/MT sales team, achieving regional sales targets, and building strong relationships in the market. This is a full-time on-site.

Manage the sales Team.
Business Responsibility Growth.
New Area Opening.
Retention of SS and Distributor.
Adding New Clients- Chain Outlets
Introduce a New Channel.
Market Outstanding Recovery.
Team Management.
Retention plan of the team.
Incentive Plan.
Market Growth Plan
Create regional sales plans
Forecast quarterly and annual profits
Report on regional sales results
Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility

Qualifications & Experience

Prior experience in managing large sales teams and regional markets.
Proven work experience as a Area Sales Manager, Sr. Area Manager or similar senior sales role
Experience in the food industry, with a strong understanding of the General Trade & Marden Trade segment.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
An ability to analyze sales metrics and make data-driven decisions to improve sales performance.
Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
A strong network and excellent relations with key customers in the Horeca industry will be an added advantage.
Must have 8 years of experience in sales, preferably in the food industry.
