The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for overseeing and driving sales activities in the assigned territory for both pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
The ASM will lead a team of medical representatives, manage key accounts, and ensure the achievement of sales targets while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of medical representatives, providing them with guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and business reviews to senior management.Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards. The required candidate should have the following qualities: 1. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.2. Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing successful sales teams.3. Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
