About The Opportunity

A growth-focused company operating in the Office & School Stationery and Consumables sector, distributing branded products across retail, institutional and wholesale channels. We partner with dealers, distributors and institutional buyers to drive market share, in highly competitive regional markets.

Area Sales Manager

Location:

Pan‑India (On-site, field sales role)Role & Responsibilities
  • Own assigned territory P&L: plan and execute sales initiatives to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for stationery products.
  • Build and manage relationships with distributors, modern trade, retailers, and institutional buyers to expand distribution and improve product availability.
  • Drive trade-promotions and in-store merchandising activities to increase visibility, conversion and SKU productivity across channel partners.
  • Implement route-to-market strategies: territory mapping, call planning, and retail coverage optimization to maximise reach and reduce stock-outs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback; translate insights into actionable plans with Marketing and Supply Chain teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and forecasts in CRM; own collection follow-ups and ensure timely order fulfilment coordination with operations.
