Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager at Sky Volt Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in managing regional sales operations, client acquisition, and project expansion in the Uttar Pradesh region. This dynamic position involves a hybrid working style, combining office coordination with frequent field travel. Your focus will be on driving sales growth in various segments including CAPEX, Open Access, Kusum A & C Schemes, and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Projects. Regular travel across Uttar Pradesh will be necessary to meet clients, conduct site visits, and manage project discussions. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar sector, with a specific emphasis on rooftop and distributed solar projects. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners, and industry stakeholders. - Prepare and implement strategic sales plans to achieve project installation and revenue targets. - Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and trend studies to stay competitive. - Lead client presentations, site visits, negotiations, and contract closures. - Work closely with internal teams (Design, Execution, Finance) for smooth project execution. - Attend and represent Sky Volt at exhibitions, seminars, and networking events. - Provide regular updates, forecasts, and pipeline reports to senior management. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management. - Candidates with experience in heavy industry equipment sales are encouraged to apply. - Strong record of meeting/exceeding sales targets. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Self-motivated and capable of working independently. - Proficient with CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). - Willingness to travel extensively within Uttar Pradesh. - Knowledge of solar EPC projects, sales cycles, and project financing will be an advantage.
