Job Description


The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the adoption of the Orderloop Platform among restaurant owners. This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a strong background in field sales. A working laptop, a smartphone and a two-wheeler (with a valid license) are must to effectively perform daily tasks in the field.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Direct Sales: Sell the Orderloop platform directly to restaurant owners through strategic, face-to-face engagements.
  • Lead Generation: Actively identify and gather sales leads from the market, and engage prospective restaurant partners.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust relationships with restaurant owners, providing market insights and tailored solutions to drive business success.
  • Promotion & Marketing: Sign contracts with restaurants, manage inquiries from both new and existing clients, and execute promotional events to expand the user base.
  • Customer Service & Administration: Oversee sales administration and operational reporting. Streamline processes and systems to enhance customer service and advise senior management on business relationship improvements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—regardless of direct reporting lines—to drive business outcomes and uphold the company’s values.
  • Leadership & Influence: Act as the face of Orderloop in the market, setting a positive example while leveraging a wide network of contacts to maximize campaign success.
  • Field Work: Regular travel is required; candidates must be prepared for extensive field/outbound work using their own or public transportation.


Qualifications & Skills:


  • Education: Minimum of a graduate degree or a 12th pass with a 3-year diploma. Any postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in field sales, cold calling, and lead generation. Experience in software/IT product sales is an additional advantage.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using laptops, tablets, and smartphones for business operations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and the local vernacular.
