Area Sales Manager I - B2C (Modern Trade)

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager Modern Trade at our company in Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to drive business results in the organized trade segment of B2C business. You will play a crucial role in implementing the pre-determined business plan and exploring new avenues for growth. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and track All India Modern Trade in terms of numbers, growth, and trends. - Maintain updated information on Category managers, team hierarchy by account. - Cultivate strong business relationships with all modern trade accounts. - Ensure product/SKU listings in Modern Trade. - Conduct negotiations on trade terms and finalize Annual Business Plans with Modern Trade accounts including sales targets, activity calendar, branding, sampling, and special events. - Develop Annual Business Plans for Modern Trade, including sales targets, distribution plans, strategies for category dominance, and in-store activity calendars. - Plan and execute manpower requirements for key account management and merchandising. - Monitor product availability, visibility, and activations in coordination with the sales team. - Implement trade and consumer schemes, sampling activities, and branding initiatives. - Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to ensure in-store visibility and effective merchandising. - Keep track of competitors" activities, analyze secondary sales data, and provide feedback to the sales team. - Collect, analyze, and present category data, market share, and growth trends by account and market. Qualifications Required: - MBA preferred. - Minimum 7+ years of experience in FMCG Marketing, preferably in the oil industry. - Proficient in software packages including Windows and Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel. - Good presentation skills are an added advantage.,
