Job Description

Role Overview: As an Assistant Manager Modern Trade at our company, your main responsibility will be to drive business results according to the organized trade business plan in B2C sales. Your role involves identifying new growth opportunities and ensuring the successful implementation of sales strategies in the modern trade sector. Key Responsibilities: - Keep track of All India Modern trade in terms of their numbers, growth, trends, etc. - Maintain an updated record of category managers, team hierarchy by account. - Establish and nurture strong business relationships with all modern trade accounts. - Ensure product listing of products/SKUs in Modern Trade. - Conduct negotiations on terms of trade with modern trade accounts. - Collaborate with Modern Trade to finalize the Annual Business Plan, including sales targets, activity calendar, branding, sampling, special events, etc. - Devise the Annual Business Plan for Modern Trade, including sales targets (Volume/Value) by account, distribution and coverage plan, category dominance strategies, and in-store activities calendar. - Plan and execute manpower requirements for key account management and merchandising. - Evaluate the performance of key account relationships. - Ensure product availability, visibility, and activations across all active stores. - Implement trade and consumer schemes, sampling activities, branding activities, etc. - Coordinate with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams for effective execution. - Monitor in-store visibility and merchandising activities. - Track competitors" activities and develop tactical and strategic plans. - Analyze secondary sales data and distribution data to provide feedback and support options to the sales team. - Collect, analyze, and present category data, market share, growth trends, etc., for each category by account and market. Qualifications Required: - MBA preferred. - Minimum 7+ years of work experience in FMCG Marketing, preferably in the oil industry. - Proficiency in software packages including Windows, Microsoft Office (especially MS Excel), and good presentation skills are preferred.,
