Job Summary

Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute growth strategies for all
North East states
:
Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim
Identify and onboard distributors, stockists, and retail partners across the region.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure continuous revenue growth.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, retailers, and key stakeholders.
Lead promotional activities and ensure brand visibility in the region.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to management.
Monitor and guide on-ground sales team to ensure performance.
Visit markets regularly to drive secondary and tertiary sales.

Requirements

Bachelors degree (MBA preferred).
4–8 years of experience in FMCG, Ayurvedic, Herbal, or Pharma sales.
Strong knowledge of North East markets, geography, and buying patterns.
Experience in distributor/channel management is a must.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
