Area Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities

To drive sales, channel expansion, and market penetration for the Tiles business in the Surat region by managing distributors, dealers, and key influencers. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strong market relationships, and ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies.

1. Sales Achievement & Revenue Growth

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  
• Ensure product-wise and channel-wise sales growth.
  
• Implement schemes and promotions to drive secondary sales.
  

2. Channel Development & Management

• Appoint, develop, and manage distributors and dealer networks.
  
• Strengthen existing channel partners through regular engagement and performance reviews.
  
• Ensure proper channel hygieneinventory management, credit management, and timely payments.
  

3. Market Penetration & Expansion

• Identify new markets, untapped geographies, and business opportunities across Surat and surrounding areas.
  
• Conduct competitor analysis and share market insights with management.
  

4. Influencer Management

• Build and maintain strong relations with architects, builders, contractors, and interior designers.
  
• Conduct product demos, trainings, and influencer meets.
  

5. Team Coordination

• Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and customer support teams for seamless execution.
  
• Guide on-ground sales promoters/ISRs (if applicable).
  

6. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
  
• Ensure CRM/ERP data hygiene and adherence to company processes.
