Area sales manager (assam)

About the Role:

We are seeking a smart, professional, and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead and expand our EV two-wheeler business in the Assam region. The ideal candidate must have strong field experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive sales targets through effective dealer management and market development.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.

Manage dealers and ensure smooth market operations.

Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

Drive channel expansion and identify potential market opportunities across Assam.

Conduct regular field visits to support sales teams and strengthen dealer relationships.

Ensure timely submission of sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback.

Coordinate with service, operations, and marketing teams for seamless business execution.

Train and guide on-ground sales executives and channel partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Graduate in B.Com, B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of field sales experience, preferably in EV, Automobile, or Two-Wheeler industry.

Strong communication skills; proficiency in English is mandatory.

Good knowledge of the Assam market and dealer/distributor network.

Ability to handle field operations, achieve targets, and manage a team.

Smart, professional, and self-driven individual with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
