Experience &

Qualification

- • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience working with electric vehicles (EVs), EV components, or similar automotive/electrical/mechatronic roles. • Diploma or degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical certification. • Basic understanding of EV powertrain, battery management, charging systems preferred. • Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics; use of multimeter, diagnostic tools.

Key Responsibilities-

Area Duties

Vehicle Servicing & Maintenance • Carry out regular servicing of EVs (inspection, scheduled checks) • Replace / repair components such as motors, battery packs, wiring, DC/AC inverters as needed • Perform safety checks on brakes, tyres, suspension as relevant to EVs

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting

• Diagnose electrical faults, battery issues, charging problems • Use diagnostic tools & software • Identify root cause & propose repair / replacement

Customer Support

/ Showroom Duties • Assist showroom staff in explaining technical features to customers • Demonstrate basic maintenance / care instructions to EV owners • Ensure vehicle readiness for test drives

Quality & Safety•

Adhere to all safety protocols (electrical safety, high-voltage components) • Maintain workshop / tools in clean & serviceable condition • Follow manufacturer guidelines and warranty policies

Documentation & Reporting

• Keep accurate job cards, service records, parts used • Report recurring faults or feedback to service manager • Time tracking for jobs

Skills & Competencies

• Good electrical & electronics knowledge (circuitry, battery chemistry basics) • Mechanical aptitude (fitting, alignment, basic mechanical repairs) • Problem-solving mindset; attention to detail • Basic computer / software literacy (for diagnostic tools / data logging) • Good communication skills (can explain issues to customers, work in a team) • Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious .
