Company Description

Deckmount is a medical equipment company specializing in the development, manufacturing, and distribution of sleep and respiratory medical devices. Founded in 2021 in Gurugram, Haryana, India, Deckmount designs products to diagnose, treat, and manage conditions such as sleep-disordered breathing, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory conditions. The product portfolio includes CPAP machines, APAP machines, BiPAP machines, and Oxygen Concentrators, used by healthcare professionals and patients in both home care and hospital settings.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Area Sales Manager located in Chennai. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales operations within their designated area, developing and implementing sales strategies, meeting sales targets, and building and maintaining relationships with customers. Other day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, coordinating with other departments, and reporting on sales performance.

Qualifications

Sales and business development skills
Strong understanding of medical equipment, particularly sleep and respiratory devices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Market research and data analysis skills
Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in the medical device industry is a plus
