Area Sales Manager (ASM)

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) position at Rajguru Food and Beverage Industry is a key role responsible for overseeing the distribution channel of the company's products in all areas of Gujarat & Maharashtra. Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Manager, as an ASM, you will be leading a team of 25 to 35 sales resources to achieve sales targets, maintain distributor relationships, and ensure effective execution of sales strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the overall sales team within the assigned territory, developing and implementing sales strategies, and monitoring sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. You will also be responsible for ensuring consistent product availability and visibility in the market. As an ASM, you will recruit, train, and mentor Sales Officers and their respective sales representatives. Conducting regular team meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and set goals will be crucial in maintaining a positive and motivating work environment for your team. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and key retailers, ensuring timely distribution of products, and managing inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations will be essential aspects of your role. Additionally, conducting market research to understand customer needs, preferences, and competition will help in devising effective sales strategies. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring a Bachelor's degree. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience in management, beverage industry, team management, and sales.
