Job Description

Digichai is a fast-growing FMCG brand committed to delivering high-quality products to consumers across India. We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to manage and grow our sales operations in Varanasi and nearby territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and drive sales performance for the assigned area
• Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors and sales team
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Ensure proper market coverage, visibility, and product availability
• Execute trade marketing activities and promotional campaigns
• Monitor secondary sales and distributor stock levels
• Develop strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior
• Submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management
• Ensure adherence to company policies and processes

Requirements & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)
• 3–6 years of experience in FMCG sales (ASM / Sr. Sales Executive role preferred)
• Strong knowledge of General Trade (GT) distribution
• Experience in distributor and team handling
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
• Local market knowledge of Varanasi is mandatory
