Job Description

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals
  • Set city-wise, region-wise, and product-wise sales targets
  • Identify new markets, channels, and revenue opportunities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts

2. Team Leadership & Management

  • Recruit, train, and manage ASMs, Sales Officers, and field sales teams
  • Build a performance-driven sales culture with clear KPIs
  • Monitor daily sales activities, DSRs, and field performance
  • Conduct regular sales reviews, training, and motivation sessions

3. Revenue & Target Achievement

  • Ensure achievement of sales targets across all regions
  • Drive machine sales, repeat orders, and upselling opportunities
  • Implement incentive and commission structures linked to performance
  • Take corrective action for underperforming teams or regions

4. Market Expansion & Channel Development

  • Lead expansion into new cities and territories
  • Develop and manage channel partners, distributors, and institutional clients
  • Strengthen B2B, corporate, and bulk sales pipelines
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners

5. Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate with Operations, Service, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
  • Ensure smooth order processing, delivery, installation, and post-sales support
  • Maintain discipline in payment collection and credit control
  • Ensure proper reporting, CRM updates, and sales data accuracy

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports to management
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and competitor activities
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, pricing, and discount policies

  • Strong leadership and team-handling skills
  • Proven ability to work under high-pressure, target-driven environments
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 7–12 years of experience in sales, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in FMCG, vending machines, appliances, startups, or B2B sales preferred
  • Experience in multi-city or regional sales operations is a strong advantage

  • Monthly and quarterly revenue achievement

  • City-wise expansion and market penetration
  • Payment realization and receivables control
  • Retention and performance of sales staff
