Area Sales Manager

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Location: Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh Department: Sales & Marketing Industry: FMCG / Beverages / Consumer Goods Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager / Zonal Sales Manager Key Responsibilities: Responsible for achieving sales targets and growth in the assigned area (Moradabad and nearby markets). Appoint, handle and manage distributors & dealers to ensure product availability in the market. Lead, train, and motivate the team of Sales Officers/Executives to achieve individual & team targets. Monitor secondary sales, stock management, schemes implementation, and timely collections. Conduct regular market visits to track competitor activities, customer feedback, and new opportunities. Develop strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and key accounts in the region. Ensure execution of promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing activities. Prepare weekly/monthly MIS reports and share updates with management. Handle customer complaints, resolve distributor/retailer issues, and maintain smooth business operations. Drive business growth, market expansion, and brand visibility in Moradabad area. Requirements: Graduate / MBA preferred (Sales & Marketing). 4–8 years of experience in FMCG/Beverages/Consumer Goods Sales (area sales handling must). Strong distributor & channel management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Willingness to travel extensively within the area. Good knowledge of Moradabad market will be an added advantage.
