This is a full-time on-site role for Rasi Foods (Manufacturer of Spencer's Bread and Bakery Products) located in Salem which has been running successfully for 38 years.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Area Sales Executive to promote and expand the market reach of Spencer’s Bread and Pastry Products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for market visits, retailer engagement, dealer/distributor appointment, order taking from retailers and institutional clients. This is a field-intensive role ideal for candidates passionate about food brands and FMCG sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular field visits to retail stores, supermarkets, bakeries, and distributors to promote products.
• Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and branding at retail points.
• Appoint new dealers/distributors in untapped regions and onboard them effectively.
• Gather customer and retailer feedback, market trends, and competitor intelligence.
• Take B2B orders and coordinate with the production/logistics teams for timely delivery.
• Submit daily/weekly reports on field activities, market reach, and campaign results.
• Support events, product launches, and seasonal marketing activities as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
• 0–3 years of experience in field marketing, FMCG, or retail promotions (freshers with strong communication skills may apply).
• Strong interest in B2B sales and food product marketing.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of local geography and market dynamics.
• Proficient in basic computer tools (MS Excel, WhatsApp Business, etc.).
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (mandatory).
