Core Responsibilities

1. Channel Partner Lifecycle Management

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and train channel partners especially distributors in hardware, adhesives, paints, tools, building materials, polymers, woodworking, metal fabrication, ceramics, and pipe & fittings.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships, forging trust and driving shared business goals.

2. Strategy & Field Execution

  • Develop and deploy

    territory-specific channel sales strategies

    aligned with company targets and market dynamics.
  • Lead the creation of beat plans (daily/weekly routing) to enhance FSE coverage. Monitor FSE performance, iterate plans, and ensure maximum territory effectiveness.

3. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on channel metrics, maintaining oversight of FSE performance and distributor ROI.
  • Provide insights and feedback to channel partners, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to support product launches, marketing campaigns, and inventory planning.

4. Team Leadership & Training

  • Manage and mentor a field sales team of up to

    15 FSEs

    setting expectations, providing guidance, and evaluating performance.
  • Ensure partners are well-equipped with product knowledge, sales tactics, and promotional materials.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:

    Graduate or Post-Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience:

    8–20 years in field/channel sales with at least 5 years as ASM or equivalent managing teams of up to 15.
  • Relationship Assets:

    Strong database and existing networks with hardware retailers and distributors.
