Job Description

Job Objective:

Car Loans

Key Responsibilities:

1. Car Loans Business Development

  • Source new car loan business through field visits and dealership tie-ups.
  • Meet monthly disbursement and portfolio targets for new and used car finance.
  • Drive penetration in semi-urban and rural markets in line with Mahindra Finances core approach.

2. Dealership & Market Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with local

    dealerships

    to generate consistent loan applications.
  • Monitor dealer performance, address grievances, and support promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure dealership compliance with company credit and documentation norms.

3. Manhandling of Executive & ABM Coordination

  • Provide on-field leadership and guidance to loan executives and coordinate closely with

    Area Business Manager

    (ABM).
  • Ensure daily task alignment, productivity tracking, and issue resolution for field staff.
  • Conduct periodic reviews, team training, and ensure on-ground discipline.

4. TA Inventory Handling

  • Maintain proper tracking of

    Trade Allowance (TA) inventory

    related to vehicle loans.
  • Ensure all physical documents (loan files, KYCs, etc.) are secured, catalogued, and dispatched timely.
  • Coordinate with credit and operations teams for audit readiness.

5. Payout of VLI (Vehicle Loan Incentives)

  • Monitor and process

    VLI payouts

    to dealerships and agents based on defined SLAs.
  • Ensure timely approvals, calculation accuracy, and disbursal coordination with finance.
  • Maintain transparent reporting and dispute resolution for incentive-related queries.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • Graduate / Postgraduate in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Preferably from BFSI / NBFC sector with auto loan exposure

Experience:

  • 5-8 years in vehicle finance business roles, with a focus on field sales and dealership management
  • Experience in handling loan documentation, payout processes, and team supervision

Skills & Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of

    car loan

    business dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills
  • Knowledge of

    TA inventory

    systems and payout processes
  • Proficiency in Excel and internal loan processing tools
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
