Job Title : Architect / Project Manager Resort / 5-Star Hotel Projects Location : [Insert Location] Reports To : Director of Projects / Senior Project Manager Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect / Project Manager with a strong background in the design, planning, and execution of resort and 5-star hotel projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in leading high-end hospitality projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest standards. The role involves managing multiple stakeholders, guiding the project team, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the construction site. Key Responsibilities : Project Leadership : Lead and manage architectural and construction teams for the successful delivery of resort and 5-star hotel projects. Coordinate all phases of design and construction, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints. Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure the project vision is realized. Design Management : Oversee architectural design development, ensuring it aligns with the client’s vision and operational requirements. Work closely with designers to produce innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective architectural solutions. Conduct design reviews, ensuring compliance with codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Execution & Construction Oversight : Manage the entire construction process, from procurement to handover, including managing schedules, budgets, and resources. Monitor progress and resolve any issues that arise during construction to maintain quality and timelines. Ensure high standards of quality control and safety during all stages of the project. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is being completed per specifications. Client & Stakeholder Management : Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project status, issues, and achievements. Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and other stakeholders. Manage client expectations and ensure that the project scope is adhered to. Budget & Schedule Management : Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all milestones. Prepare and manage budgets, track expenditures, and report on financial progress. Ensure cost-effective solutions and minimize potential project overruns. Team Management & Coordination : Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, identify issues, and propose solutions. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of project staff as required. Regulatory & Quality Compliance : Ensure the project meets all local, state, and federal regulations, building codes, and sustainability standards. Manage the permitting process and ensure timely approval of required permits and licenses. Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure the highest construction standards. Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management and architectural design, with a focus on resort or 5-star hotel projects. Strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes, construction practices, and project management methodologies. Proven experience in leading large-scale hospitality projects, from concept through execution and delivery. Expertise in managing project budgets, timelines, and client relationships. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, and other architectural/management software. Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building certifications (e.g., LEED) is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills : Experience with luxury resort design and high-end hotel operations. Familiarity with international design standards and practices in hospitality. PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus. Fluent in [insert relevant languages] is an advantage.
